PR2050 “Creating our Future”
Summary
Those of us who live, work, and visit Point Reyes Station choose to take part in life here because of theunique, caring community that has been nurtured over decades. We believe the future of this inclusive and thriving community should be determined by those with the greatest stake in the Point Reyes area: residents and employees, as well as our many visitors.
We are now launching the PR2050 Project, an initiative vital to our community. Through this project, we will learn from residents of all ages, employees, business owners, nonprofit leaders, and visitors what they believe makes a thriving Point Reyes for all. What hopes do they hold for calling this home, a place for employment, and a visitor-friendly destination? What do they need and want to continue calling this home and a place for employment? How do these answers vary by age and circumstance? And how do these answers help us build a strong community and strengthen our local governance?
