Treasurer’s Report – Laura Arndt. Please pay dues $20 per member
Item 1: Dark Sky Update – Peggy Day, Laura Arndt - National Seashore, submitted application, ordinance progressing, Facebook page “Dark Sky West Marin,” Educating & outreach & stargazing very successful, thank you to Don Jolley.
Item 2: Dennis Rodoni - Community Outreach at next meeting (he will be our guest). CDA: New Assistant Director to Tom Lai - Sarah Jones. Chloe Cook is new H&HS manager at the Human Services Building in PRS.
Item 3: Caltrans Repaving Project Update - Ken Levin. Working on dead tree removal at school to facilitate path rejuvenation.
Item 4: Design Review Steve Antonaros, Ken Levin - Sustainable Plan for Point Reyes – Marin Economic Forum – development plan for West Marin, investment groups eyeing real estate in PRS
Comment: Do we have enough water? Suggestion: Need Sustainable Plan for Point Reyes. Committee formed: Frank B, Steve A , Peggy D, Chris H.
Suggestion to extend limited parking by extending the painted curb from Post Office to Wells Fargo Bank corner - Laura Arndt
Future for Grandi Building - Steve Antonaros discussion of new development permit application submitted by owner.
Housing Element Workshop update - Ken Levin - Marin County needs to designate over 3600 unit sites by Dec. 31, 2022. More info on county website
Announcements: Eileen Donnery, announced that Western Weekend will be happening this year on June 4, 5th. PRSVillage Assn will participate in planning.
